We all have a few videos to share. Why not put them here?
this isn’t strictly esk8, but it does feature my 6S build pretty prominently abut two thirds of the way through. This is actually a music video for a song i wrote and recorded.
I made this clip last year for Fiik skateboards when I lived in Brisbane, had heaps of fun tearing around with them
This one’s gotta be my 1st favorite. Maybe because the song’s cool too.
This one is recent as of today.
made this one Friday night. Then Saturday i did a rain test and washed out my ESC. Need to work on sealing that box. lol
I made this vid of me and 3 other mates going for a cruise on the e-skates WARNING the audio track has BAD words. sorry.
Still rocking the ezrun in this video. I do not miss those brakes!
Gotta love the acceleration with the ezrun though! And @ 6s too!
I think I was using an 8s lifepo4 pack charged to 28v. The ezrun will definitely be a contender when racing starts to take shape.
This is a short version of a snow ride.
@psychotiller, @chaka, @torqueboards Got to love a snow day TB 12ESC and some waterproof liquid tape all terrain all weather.
This is awesome man. What part of NYC are you from? I grew up in Queens (Far Rock, Astoria, Woodside) but recently moved to Ann Arbor in July. How’s the ESK8 scene out there? Other than Casey Neistat riding the Boosted in Manhattan are there many others?
Hi I’m from the Bx.
The eSk8 scene around my area not do active, I hope that will change in the near future.
I know some guys have been getting boosted but not that I have encounter any eSk8r. I Think they just use them to commute not for joy riding.
I like more the joy rides to unwind, don’t like to mingle with the city traffic.
I read your eSk8 piece on your site, nice work man, that is a great perspective on the satisfaction and impact of building something with you own hands to satisfaction.
Oh cool yeah I thought I recognized some of those spots in the BX. I took some classes at Manhattan College and my sister lives out in Riverdale so I’m familiar with that area and parts of Inwood. Yeah I figured the mountain board would be tough to maneuver around the city and it looks like a blast for unwinding. I have a lot of purist skater friends that I grew up with in NYC and they kinda shake their heads when they see me posting about ESK8. The skaters out here seem a little more willing to try it.
I think I ran across your build article either here on ES. Would you mind sending that to me, I’m kind of intrigued with potentially building a mountain board which would definitely work here in Michigan.
