The Swiss ceramic bearings are 163 new, mine are the bones Swiss
I get rebranded bones reds for just $10 at a local shop and theyâre super nice
Bahahahaha thatâs fucking stupid lol. My bones have never failed me. And I have a set that is @ least 7yrs old. Still use them too. Lmao $163!
Edit: Which only cost me like $20
But nothing beats hard balls right? Harder is alawys better right?
@AlanZhou has that type of luxuryđ
Hehe Iâm the type that hoardes 8 vesc and a shit ton of extra parts @J0ker3366
I agree nor disagree with that. But metal ball bearings are more resilient
Not true ceremic balls are harder eg, harder to deform
Why not just use sealed steel? They work fine for industrial machinery
Oh god, this thread isnât here for you guys to fight over bearingsđ
Do they have it in 608 size?
Apply heat to ceramic balls and then apply same heat to metal balls. Apply pressure. Tell me which one explodes first. Iâll wait lol
Welp you see thatâs called brittleness
And also the regular balls would also deform so much it wonât be useable

Back to the original topic
Fair enough lol. My wrong choice of word then lol.
Ive had ceramics and I personally liked them, but the maintenance on them was far more than metal bearings.
Not exactly true but⌠They both have the steel case but different kind of balls
I agree that ceramic do need more maintenance, from personal experience
Ok back on topic lol.
Nice bearings. Are they metal or ceramic lmao
Metal, I believe
