anet A8 for budget. tevo is still budget but better frame and all that.

Yes I am debating between a Creality3D CR - 10 ($389) , Prusa i3 mk2s ($699), and a Lulzbot Taz 6 ($2500).

I want to be able to print Nylon gears and prototypes without too much headache. Any suggestions on the above 3?

I bought a TronXY X1 and the quality is amazing, and only Ā£100. Only thing is I need to upgrade the bed in order to print anything but PLA.

The Lulzbot Taz 6 is frikkin amazing, it will literally always print correctly with very little throw away. Its also expensive as hell :), but you get what you pay for. Iā€™m using a Prusa MK2 clone right now and it pretty good, but not great and takes a significant amount of maintenance.

If I had a choice between these, I would take the Prusa because its in the sweetspot regarding features and price for me. Also it is simple to modify.

If you want to go with the i3, I can recommend swapping out bearings with igus rj4jp-01-08. And use these files for mounting them: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2542168
