Apologies for the late reply i have just been swamped with college work. I removed the diode and the VESC seems happy, it spun the motor to 100% throttle. it did stutter a little bit near the top end however it was miles better than before, i have yet to try it with a load so that may stop when im standing on the board. thank you for your help here everyone

I have a 2p10s Samsung battery, and I was wondering if I could still use it with this. I didnât notice that it specifically said 3-13s lipo on it, and I was wondering if I should just send it back and get a different one instead.
That is why you come here BEFORE you build, not after, for diagnosis. Me, I overspecced everything.
10s is the sweet spot for all vescs so far.
I did come here before I built it, the issue wasnât with the battery. Thatâs alright but you canât overspec when youâre a broke college student haha
