Chain drive e longboard help

Also I’m getting my drawings from here to get the different sizes of sprockets to machine. Thought that may help. The 32T is about as big as I think you should go if you are using 90mm wheels. Possibly 36T if you go up to 97mm wheels though.

@axelleboss I’ve built a board with a chain drive, but the sprocket connection to the wheel has to be custom as there’s no commercial solution out there.

You can find help and a link to suppliers in the EU on my blog. Http://kevindark.co.uk/blog/read/7

I’m running a 10T on one of the boards with 4" wheels. It’s a commercial metal sprocket. I;m running (I think) 13 or 14T Delrin on the boards with standard longboard wheels.

I found my wheel sprocket here: https://www.amazon.fr/Sprocket-Hub-Mount-0-25-Bore/dp/B00KVN3F3A/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1474730366&sr=1-6 But I have yet to test it

If you’ve got access to a 3d printer, I recommend using nylon…

I’d be very impressed if 10 or 11T 3D printed nylon sprockets didn’t explode - someone test this and let me know what happens
