Can you post a flex test jumping in the middle and seeing if the carbon fiber de laminates or if the board flexes at all? I have a MB’s comp pro I have debated carbon fibering it
@Dornacht, Will do, I’ll try to set up a video soon. @TarzanHBK, the way they are set up they are amazing. I can’t even fathom how it will feel. Can’t wait to try.
Time to solder 4mm banana bullet connectors to 10awg wires.
Solder T-Plug connectors in parallel. From single male to double female.
Connect both ends of the two males from the ESC to the two female ends of the parallel T-Plug connector.
Solder 4mm banana bullet connectors to female T-Plug connector.
The single male T-Plug will connect to single female T-Plug.
Nooooooooo don´t use shitty bananas or T-plugs.
They are not safe for our boards. Bananas come off easily and short wires and T-plugs are not rated high enough and produce heat when you work with some higher currents (which your system is capable of).
Use 5 mm bullet connectors for motors
Use an Xt90s for ESCs to battery (nice antispark included)
Don´t limit your board with shitty connectors bro!
Thanks @TarzanHBK you right. I am using higher voltage battery setting and motor and ESC usage. I will be pushing more power than I am use too. To bad nobody else told me. Thanks for looking out. You are well appreciated. I’ll have to change out my banana bullet connectors on my Leopard motors as well. I have some black XT90 connectors and 5.5mm connectors on the way.
good choice!
We´re all doing some stupid stuff when we´re trying the first time
Just ask if you´re unsure!
I´m really looking forward to see your board rolling!
I’m totally new to this stuff, but I love the build you did. Any chance you could help a newborn out with some more in depth on how to wire, especially the batteries, I have a different motor, but same ESC and batteries you have.
What happened to the build with the Castle Creations Talon120? I currently have a build with Loaded carbon tesseract, Torqueboards single motor drive kit, and orangatang kegels. This currently uses torqueboards vesc 4.12 and a 6355 190kv motor but I was looking into upgrading with a sk3 6374 192kv and a talon because it has such a high amp output. How did using the Talon go?
@Rdz990 That was one of the problems with the Talon. With that type of esc, It didn’t have a brake setting like the car esc. That esc was for flight. Like a helocoptor or airplane rc. But it did have settings for resistance. So if you wanted some type of braking, set in programming what level of resistance you want. Then while in motion slowly release throttle, that would be your braking process. I didn’t like that so much. But that was how I used those esc to brake. As for headlights not sure didn’t try.
