Yes something to that effect or make products that bridge that gap between. But I’m leaning towards products more available, configurable (to you application) at point of sale. Up the bar on quality and drive the customer customization factor. I really hate being on a board that looks like everyone else’s. Affordability is an issue a more unified DIY community can combat.
Anyway with the growing popularity of comercialized boards that don’t offer upgrades or configurable systems. Your locked out (of the system) and locked in to their stuff witch is usually limited.
