Elofty Direct Drive

Yeah, I am pretty sure it’s a 63mm can

Also China uses metric so, yeah 140 celsius

magnets aren’t rated to that temp

https://www.kjmagnetics.com/specs.asp

the stator obviously is smaller and still unknown length.

The true electrical phase resistance and the true kv should tell a lot and plus the temp ability of the magnets and you know everything anout the motor performance other then how well it dissipates heat.

Ah gotcha. So you are saying that 140 degrees rating doesn’t exist.

In my link there’s the different magnet temp ratings and none are for 140. The letter or letters after the magnet strength tell So n45sh Would be niodimium with 45 pull strength and “sh” telling they’re good to 150c

I’d say they may have just done the good old trick by going “she’ll be right, we can add an extra 10 degrees”

the stator size is 53*42mm as per Kenna’s reply to me through email.

@kenna22, did you find out the winding resistance( in Ohm )?

That is a large stator length, most 6374 motors are about 35mm if I recall

Has anyone tried these yet? They might have good potential for a backup cruiser.

Couldn’t get any info about what adapter is supplied, kegel or abec. But they sent some images of the phase wire adapter that will be included:

The shipping cost is still way too high. I’ll be down to test them but at that price point currently makes not much sense

The eBay one is free shipping and it’s a total of $319. It’s by those guys only. If you are in the USA, they also have a bidding store that will probably get you a pair for even less.

I know 1 guy here who got it a couple of days ago, but not gonna say who in case they are planning to do a full review. Which they will likely do, given their other articles. Haha. :crossed_fingers:

Well tell him to hurry up

Damn those phase wires are thin

I might get one, however, one pic shows Abec adapters but the wheels have Kegel core. Will I get both?

Got a pair, while I’m waiting the TB Direct

So are my enertion drive kit, mabye enertion could of used flexible 12awg silicone wire instead of 14awg rigid…

And boosted boards is using a similar connector, but again she’ll be fine…

What’s the ETA on those?

We have a little language barrier, but they’re very responsive.

IF I understood correctly they have been shipped.

I will take a trucking number on it when I was getting the number. for now, it is sleeping time,

It appears that they won’t provide ABEC adapters (even if shown in a picture). He wrote:

it is ok.but for safety hope you could use the booster wheels if you do not buy the wheels.

But then

Just the spoke of the wheels are round, the adapter of motor is round, so the motor can’t work with the ABCE wheels

Yeah, it’s pretty hard to communicate with them. I think someone who speaks Mandarin can get all the info in one go.

Brother, I feel your pain.

I’m the other buyer mentioned above, and the information relay was likewise a frustrating experience. I had the same sort of exchanges, where I tried to find out which adaptor came with it, offered to buy both ABEC and Kegel versions if possible (never got a clear answer), ordered the ESC-side connectors (told they would ship together but they shipped seperately), and tried in vain to inform them that showing ABEC adaptors in the first photo is misleading.

Even though the information provided was never clear or entirely helpful, the seller always replied quickly (same time zone) and gave what appeared to be their best effort.

I will likely receive mine first, so will report back on what I get. I will also, as mishrasubhransu thought likely, be reviewing them for .

For science! (And also because I’m a filthy little cheapskate.)
