EVOLVE GTR more torque?

Hi. I need more torque for my GTR Bamboo.

If I change motors originals 190kv to Maytech 6355 170kv and base plates for it: Will Ineed change anymore like Esc, Battery, Bms…?

how much is an evolve ESC worth? $100? $200 with remote?

yeah you need to sell it unless you want to keep it as a crappy backup.

I think you can change gearing and make more torque that way

More torque can be created in these ways.

Higher current in the motor.
Smaller wheel diameter.
Higher reduction ratio in gears.

Only option #1 will ensure that your top speed is not reduced.

You could choose a vesc based motor controller that is programmable, this would allow you to run higher motor currents, and Higher battery current. You must always operate within the specifications of your battery.
