Friendship ended with Evolve, now DIY is my best friend (Landyachtz Evo Falcon, 12s4p, Dual 6374)

Don’t like the range (or the company itself) of Evolve Boards, so I decided to make my own board.

I’m rocking

  • Landyachtz Evo Falcon

  • Dual 6374 Torqueboard motors

  • 2x SK8-ESC

  • 107mm Evolve F1 Abec 11 wheels with the logo wiped off

  • 14t motor pulley teeth

  • 33t wheel pulley teeth

  • 218mm Torqueboards trucks

  • Red Torqueboards motor mounts

  • 12s4p Torqueboards battery

I’m loving the performance. Top speed is around 37mph and the range should be around 20-25 miles, I haven’t ridden it dry yet so I’m not sure. Totally worth the money!

Convenient if I can’t find a wall!

Really nice build dude, looks clean :+1:

Ps. You’re the fourth person I know who now can’t stand Evolve and are moving on…

Very nice!! Have you tried the 39’ deck? If yes, is is as stable?

very clean build, those wheels had me confused until I saw this

Sorry but I haven’t tried the 39" deck :frowning:

This deck is extremely stable, so I’d imagine the 39" deck would be just as (if not slightly more) stable

Haha yeah, I don’t like logos too much so I think it looks nice and clean!

My friend also moved on, so make that 5 :joy:

14/33 on 107mm wheels? How’s the torque?

I love it. It starts pretty slow (might be VESC settings, first build so I’m not sure) but it cranks up super fast. Goes up hills like crazy. This is a good set up for me, I don’t need any more torque

Make that 6

I have a similar set up on the 39" evo TB 30q 12s4p and Tb dual 6374 with 107mm wheels but I used 16/36t gearing and I’m getting 42mph top speed and 18-30miles charge depending on how I ride.

Awesome build! I am considering transferring my build to an old evo deck I have, but I have a double stacked battery… what’s the ground clearance with your setup?

I have like no clearance, maybe only 1 inch or something. I can’t go over speed bumps, I’ll probably add another set of riser pads
