Hoverboard battery pack wires

Hi,

Normal battery packs with the BMS integrated usually have 2 sets of wires.

My questions:

  1. How the hoverboard battery packs only have 1 set of wire? (10s2p 4400mah battery pack with a bms)
  2. For example if I have a hoverboard battery pack, could I charge them using just the 42v adapter?

I would appreciate your helps.

bms has same charge and discharge port. yes, you can charge your battery through same port where you discharge, which is most probably xt60 (at least that was in every hoverboard battery I have ever seen)
