But arent all bldc motors sort of water proof ? I mean, the phases are coated in lacquer anyways, unless you have the protective coating somehow scratched, I dont see how its possible to short them.
KEDA windings are not coated in lacquer. Yeah, they are mostly waterproof until water causes more debris to stick in the windings which then works its way in due to vibration and rubs the insulation off shorting the windings to each other
Remember, this is a “cheap” motor
All right, my bad, sorry, I didn’t realize 35A discharge current was enough for your build. What kind of machine will this be (deck size and expected performance) ? I’m now interested by those 1P things
A 1p would work with cells with a max continuous discharge of at least 30A
and would work only single motor setups
