New to the the esk8 game just brought an exway X1 Pro and I’m hooked for sure. My question is building your own board cheaper or not?

Depends what you build, but in my experiance no. But you end up with something far superior if done correctly! What are you aiming to build?
Think I will dip my toe in the water first by seeing how easy it is to mod existing board I have first something like extending battery life.
I know building you can save a lot of money over buying a pre built, but I don’t know enough yet about esk8 game yet knowing what brands to trust ect…
