I have a carbon fiber motor mount, can it take the heat that’s applied?

That’s a good question, I’m not sure about that.

If you want to try cover the motormount with a wet towel and apply heat on the pulley only.

I have enertion CF mounts the heat is not a problem just don’t point the flame directly on the CF. Heat the pulley from the sides.

I use a Map//Pro gas torch doesn’t take very long to heat up.
