New here guys! Love the esk8 lifestyle. Pride myself on buying used neglected boards and trying to bring them back to life. This hub motor is from the previous owner running the motor after a short I believe. Terrible smell came off the motor once pulled. Cannot for the life of me find a decent replacement and want to try to clean and worst case scenario rewind the stator at a shop hopefully. The board is an Acton Blink Qu4tro and she hauls booty with just 3 functioning hub motors!!
