This is my meepo battery… ive ridden the board hard this winter and a couple semi wet rainy days because not riding wasnt an option…
anyways initially there seemed to have been some condensation that was inside the battery case when inspected a few times, but no actual pools of water. After the last major storm the battery died. The BMS is def dead BUT the actual cells and pack as a whole still seem to be testing fine. I started stripping all the paper off and a few spots have some decent rust as pictured but overall its still in pretty good shape. So with out stripping the connections off and re-spot welding on new metal what recommendations are there for getting these rusty bits off?
Light sand n grind with a dremel? Some sort of rust dissolving solution??
