I have 3k To Spend on a Electric Longboard/Mountainboard Which one do i choose? DIY or PreBuilt

Agree with above. We haven’t even heard what you want to do with the board nor what type of terrain you’re planning on tackling.

Just an example. I’ve got an 8 inch trampa, but found out for the second time now that it actually does not offer enough clearance for off-roading where I live. Need 9 inch for more security.

Gear drive is almost maintenence free btw. Drove my current drive train more than 3000 km without doing anything other than changing tires and oiling the gears. I’d say diy is maintenance friendly, because you can fix most of it yourself and get the parts. Some of the pre-made boards use proprietary escs and other parts that are hard to come by or simply not sold separately.

Not sure if you’ve made your decision yet but the LaCroix boards are awesome.

get LHB to build you your torqueboards DD 110 build

Guessing you’re located in the US? With that amount of cash I wouldn’t even consider Exway, either a Kaly or a Lacroix in my opinion. Probably a Kaly.

If you’re EU, have you checked out Bioboards?
