Inspiration for new Esk8 inventions

Hello fellow Eskaters,

Im building my first electric skateboard and I love to try new things and make inventions. I was thinking about what would be a cool feature to have on an electric skateboard. But couldn’t go further than a smoke module that can create a cloud of smoke under your board or a bluetooth speaker.

Do you have any sugestions? It can be a simple pcb with a new function or a whole new application. I am just seeking new insparation to make something!

Microwave. I get hungry sometimes on my esk8, and would be cool to bring some frozen tamales, and microwave them mid-ride!

why don’t u just finish a build first then add ancillary bits to it after. building a board is challenge enough, why complicate your first with unnecessary, albeit cool, items? perfecting a build, if there is such a thing, is difficult enough.

A tank tracks attachment to ride in the snow would be cool.

Lights are always cool, a couple of people have built brake lights and turn signals. I’ve thought a HUD type display that would show ont he rode in front of you, stuff like voltage and speed, but would be mondo pricey.

That sounds dangerous as fuck. “Oops, wrong trigger”

finally have the firepower to back up my remote that just looked like a gun.

A fork and magnifying glass and assorted knives and tooth pick also, kind of a swissarmy style remote. You can never have too much if it fits in your hand, and I’d like a fish in there too.

I just carry a nine as well. But I don’t want them to look similar to cops…

I want a device that’s less than 2 cubic centimeters in size that is full of explosives and connects to the charging jack or BMS. I want to have to plug a “key” into the charging jack (that transmits a code to the device) at least every week or two. Failure to plug the correct key in within 2 weeks means the device will explode, tearing apart the esk8. Think of this as a theft-deterrent device.

And I don’t want to have to use any certain BMS by any certain manufacturer or any certain battery voltage beyond a broad range, like “3S to 16S”

This needs to be a stand-alone device with a stand-alone key

What about making a xt90 charginng plug next to the anti spark plug, so that if someone cops your board and loop key, he/she has a 50% chance of shorting the battery pack. :fireworks: esk8 russian roulette.

^^ yah I did this

Pick one door and one door only 2 out of 3 you might explode (66% chance of failure… I decided to get rid of this design eventually)

haha, that’s so funny. you got rid of the design how exactly? with a boom?

A controller that downhill riders are able to use with their fingers and or wrist and still have two free palms for sliding on pucks.

A beer holder

a standard of parts and interfaces allowing the competing companies to all share in a new market and create a new hype and industry around a new product with interchangeable parts, options style selections and everything that say, a skateboarder, would enjoy when entering a skateboard shop and picking one out…it should be assembled as quickly as any skateboard right there in front of the customer and.or guardian and the customer should enjoy the freedom and luxury of picking out all the component and parts themselves, just like they have done with skateboards since the beginning of skateboard time…but no, we need to have chinese completes falling out of the sky ruining everything…

Hah luckily no. It was slowly cracking over time and I had patch worked it together again a few times but ended up modifying the design so I can swap my batteries out and I just charge them off the board:
