Everything bioboards screams expensive xD But i have already paid for the battery on eskating.eu. But since there is a global shortage i doubt that i will get a battery quicker somewhere else unfortunatley.

If you want to be treated like freshly lain dog shit, have zero communication, told to fuck off, wait 6 months for your stuff, and then when it finally arrives, itā€™s the wrong stuff, then head right on over to eskating [doā€‹t] eu and sign up.

Thereā€™s a reason the guy isnā€™t on the forum, last login 2019 May 22. and heā€™s not on the other forums either.

Save your money and buy from literally any other vendor in the EU.

I found a cheap used geardrive kit which made the decision for meā€¦ Dual it isā€¦ but I will try it with a single motor as well and see what the difference is.

Thatā€™s just how it works Q

You will always find another tool

Thereā€™s always a tool you somehow now canā€™t live without, but yet have never had before. Itā€™s baffling.

And when you think you got everything, thereā€™s one more thing.

And when you finally have everything, they make new things.

Planned obsolescence is an evil thing. Light bulb makers back in the day had to make a coalition amongst companies to hold prices and lifespans on bulbs constant so that they could all keep making and selling a consumable and not a one and done product. LEDs flipped the script a bit but they fully had the ability to make bulbs last years longer. They just knew it would equal less sales and people wouldnā€™t want to pay more for a lightbulb.

They are doing the same for most LED bulbs out there. Driving them to their limits to shorten the lifespan. There is simply no reason for an LED to be more than just warm to the touch. All this nonsense with heatsinks and fans on some units only confirms this.

I like to mod whatever LEDs I buy and install higher resistor values.

I know thats a 1/2 an hour video I just linked. The tl;dr of it is those lamps have double the amount of LEDs at the same wattage. If you can get your hands on some of those they should last a VERY long time.

The actual bulb in an led is not what quits working. Unless itā€™s clearly popped from over voltage itā€™s the little control thing that has a lifespan. Theoretically an led itself should never ever go bad. I think.

Not to drag on about it but leds have a typical lifespan rating of 500,000 hours maximum. Which is bullshit, they never last that long. Plastics can absorb moisture and most leds are encased in plastic. Heat them up and they live much shorter lifespans.

Of course the real electronics killer these days is lead free solder. If youā€™re bored look up the term ā€œtin whiskers.ā€

Take a look at this video if you want to know more about shorting the lifespan of light bulbs. Pretty interesting. https://youtu.be/j5v8D-alAKE

Yeah this was confirmed empirically at my childhood home. My dad would always claim it was the flipping the light on and off that did the most damage. As a stupid kid, I said no way and he challenged me by installing one lightbulb downstairs and covering the switch to it so it was always on and one of the same bulbs upstairs where it was toggled normally.

The unswitched light bulb lasted over 10 years and was still going while I was in college :flushed:
