So I’m about halfway through building my battery and currently have one layer of 10mm wide, 0.15mm thick nickel strip on top and bottom of each p group. For my series connections, I’m going to use 3 lines of flat braided pretinned copper wire where each strand can handle 40A continuously since I’d like to draw up to 100A peak off the pack. I have enough leftover nickel to double up on 9 of my 12 p groups.
Should I double up on all the p group nickel strip and wait on adding the series connections until all nickel is doubled??
