Maker x go foc dv6 what wire connection go where

Im using a loop key. Is that enough or do i need to put a fuse on the charging side too?

You have to connect the dv6 to vesc tools via pc first, go to firmware and install bootloader, give it about 15 seconds and then install firmware. This will reset your DV6 to its default settings. Wait about 15 seconds and then repower the esc. I do it as a reboot test.

You would then go to the app settings and see if your dv6 is set as ppm/uart. Everything else should work as soon as you connect it. Then just proceed with the set up for both remote and motors.

If the Bluetooth module isnt working, try flipping the rx/tx wires.

Fuse on the charging wire. Loop key only helps to limit the current spike of the battery to esc.

Put a fuse on the charge port. Between the charge port itself and anything else. On either side. Close to the actual port.

Twice the amperage you want to charge at is fine.
