That’s a very big if. Vibrations eat bad welds and solder joints for breakfast. The safest way imo is to go with a battery for which you don’t mess with the internals. The only welds I trust are done with industrial spot welders and not toy look-a-like knock offs.
It doesn’t matter how safe the chemistry itself is, if the battery build isn’t top notch.
