so the c clip on the front of the motor can came loose or broke and the can + motor shaft extended out the back?
no, i had to take the clip off to slide the stator off, but the can is 2 parts, one part is the aluminum piece that holds the shaft the other is the actual can
then of course u have the stator and the aluminium piece that holds the stator

correct, there was no longer a gap between the stator base and the can
yeah, so what happened to the motor shaft… motor shaft is held by the C clip + the set screws on the end.

nothing lol it was fine the only piece tht moved was the can and it closed the gap

Sounds like the set screws got loose over time then and the motor spinning separated itself from the end during rotation.
the set screw is tight tho, and the shaft is flush with the base…
So the cir-clip came out from the front? lol or the motor shaft stretched…
