Hi everyone !
I spend a lot of time on this forum and it’s been a lot of inspiration and learning!
Leaving in south east of France, we have a lot of up and downhill, when you just wanna drop your car and ride the rest of you travel by skate well, early in the morning you don’t really think of warming up you legs and fews month later you get hurt… So it was a good motivation to start building an esk8 ! 5 years ago I made a very cheap and unpowerfull esk8. only flat grounds and no brake only motor brake => pretty useless!
Few years later I want something powerfull and secure! So I went ahead with this new setup.
Everything is now designed assembled and ready to test.
My only problem is a mistake when wiring up the BMS. Instead of wiring the wire of the cell 5 I wired the cell 10. 18,5V instead of 3.7V and the serie of resistors began to melt. I immediatly unplug it but the mistake was done. So I decided to contact bestech so they could tell me the exact reference of the smd resistor. 1week later I received them and started to remplace the burned ones. But now my BMS is warming up a bit when the cells are connected to it. Warming = current going through the BMS = batteries that will slowly discharge when the board is stored. Worse, cells are going to disbalance each other. I don’t want that.
Maybe somebody can help me with this? If you need more informations feel free to ask;) Also when I’m tryig to charge the batterie with a 42V charger, it doesn’t seems to charge anything, the green led on the charger is on and nothing is happening. I know I’m not the only one who got this problem so if you solved it some advice are welcome
Here come the picture of the project ! I’d love to have you feebacks !!
