Q: how do I test the voltage on this multi socket connector

Hi its actually an E-bike battery but maybe someone here can help. Newbie Question need to test the voltages at the pins on this bms. Do I need to pull apart the connector first ? I’m familiar with my multimeter but whwere is best to attach my black multimeter lead?

solder joints on rear of circuit board?

you could use the pins on the back. Just be REALLY careful and don’t short them.

thanks for the heads up all sorted now. managed to get voltages from the gap at the front of the pins and grounded on B- on the board
