Hi. I’ve completed a few various builds now and I’m looking to start my next project.
I’ve built a few 18650 battery packs in the past and now I want to build a range extender in addition to my main battery.
The extended battery will be a 10s2p.
Does anyone know the best place to get diodes from and which ones I will need?
Ebike is a levo which only pulls 500w max so I’m thinking they would need to be rated at 30 amp for worst case scenario.
I’ve never needed to use diodes before but I have seen some called “ideal diodes”. Apparently they don’t have any forward biased resistance and therefore no volt drop. Would these be suitable?
