I might be starting a build with one of these Subsonic spirit 30ā wheel base up to 21.75
Customskateboards.com has a lot of super inexpensive boards with every design/shape you can think of. Their big boards are $25 and the small ones are $17. But you have to add your own paint/finish and grip tape on most of them. https://www.customskateboards.com/Blank-Old-School These ones are all around 30" long but only have 15" wheelbases Iām planning on getting this one sometime in the next week or so https://www.customskateboards.com/Blank-Old-School/Blank-Lip-Slide-Old-School
I am in the process of using a bustin 2013 spliff and make a dual built drive. The plan is to use small cheap racerstar 5045 motors 200kv, and cheap eBay esc and some lipo 4000mah in 10s. 83mm wheels 36/15 gears 15mm belts. Diy motor mounts on 10inch trucks. The goal is to made the skateboard portable, use for flat ground and 4 to 5 miles distance
I too am in the same position. My favourite board so far is a Landyachtz Ripple Ridge. I really like landyachtz as they have nice graphics, relatively easy to get in my country (Singapore) and pretty firm maple which is good for eskate.
-
Landyachtz Ripple Ridge Very nice ripple shape which lets your feet really grab the board and feel locked in. Long enough but not too long.
-
Landyachtz 36 Peacemaker Long variant with nice kicktail shape
-
Landyachtz Dinghy 28" Ultra light and short. If you want a really compact deck, they have a mini dinghy which is like a Penny Nickel size.
-
Landyachtz Tugboat Larger size suitable for longboard trucks, but similar length to dinghy. Got to google this yourself as forums dont let me add more pics.
I would also consider Rayne Bright/Darkside.
Very similar @Dasnewten
