This is exactly what just happened to my master when I added a new light to my circuit last night.
Only percussive maintenance hasn’t fixed it yet.

I have a spare focbox, but that’s for my mtb which should be done next week so it’s not really a spare anymore.

IMO no, because the dd hangers can be pretty long and the spud is only 9.5 inches wide so there will be quite some protrusion of the wheels from under the deck. the 200mm surfrodz hanger I chose to match my dd’s is already a bit long for my taste on the 9.75" wide deck I have.
Up to you though, there’s not a problem with long hangers, just have to watch out for kicking them if you’re pushing. It’s more of an aesthetic thing but it does change the truck geometry slightly. You can compensate with bushings.

Yeah… but the key is to do it with love and if it doesn’t work you need to use all the trick Cesar the dog whisperer as teach us.
