Using 11mm belt on 12mm pulley

My drive belt broke. Found some cheap 11mm HTD 5M belts on ebay. Would this work on 12mm pulleys or is this just a bad idea?

It will work. As far as I know, every pulley is a little bit wider than belt. Try meassuring your 12mm pulley, its probably 13 or 14mm wide
