Voltage drop. More detailed analysis

My board, is 10s5p. Sounds perfect, BUT, I used 10amp GA cells. They handle things rather well, until I ride uphill, for a half mile. This, from store to home. How this presents itself, is that my battery meter shows a drastic drop, say from 80% to 60%. This recovers quite quickly to its relative original level.

My question is, does voltage droop actually diminish battery by its occurrence, or is the recovery then no harm no foul? My board retains plenty of torque during droop, so operation is not a big deal. I would not want to harm my cells.

Is voltage droop, proof that you are overtaxing your battery, and eating up longevity, or is it simply a fact of life, and what batteries go thru?
