Yeah but all the motors I have seen use metal shields which the oil comes through. Won’t work for rubber seals. Thin oil will wick in.

@lrdesigns sealed bearings need to be opened and greased with bearing grease, not with oil. If you have oil that’s thin enough to sip through the seal, its also thin enough to sip out. At the speed this motors spin, that oil will be gone in a few seconds. Anyway, these bearings are so cheap is not even worth the hassle to open and grease.

Fair point, I never oiled mine. Just experience from RC stuff. I just run them till I upgrade, if you really like the motor replace the bearings once a year or if they stop running smooth.
