Just wondering if anyone can explain why battery watt hours are calculated with nominal voltage and not fully charged voltage. Surely the capacity of the battery is when fully charged?
because it’s the middle point between fully charged voltage and empty voltage.
The fully charged voltage drops quickly to the nominal voltage during use.
The ‘extra capacity’ by charging to the last say 0,2 V is around one percent.
