Disclaimer++ I am very new to electric skateboards.
Hello, I’m will be making 8s4p lithium ion battery pack and am not sure what charger I should use. The 8s4p battery pack will reach a maximum voltage of 33.6v and a minimum voltage of 24v. Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the ESK8 forum,
@JeremyWon. What kind of battery connector will you be using? Is it an XT90?
Something like this would work.
1 n Pcs, with AC input cable. Light in red: in charging. AC 100~240V, 50/60Hz. Product Gallery. Related Product. Report No.:2015010907755103. CCC Certification under the standard of China. Report No.: JD 50301812.
Or if you have an external balance port you could go with a fancy Rc battery charger like this.
Thanks for replying
@kavic5150. The one from Ebay looks like it will work.
Probably. I’m still getting a parts list for this build.
Thanks so much for your help.
No problem. Hey while we’re at it, get the anti-spark XT-90s. Much easier on speed controllers and it eliminates the sparking and pitting that happens to regular connectors.
@kavic5150, thanks for the recommendation, I’ll look around for few.
