What ESC would I need for this motor

Hi im planning on getting the Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 5055-280KV Brushless Outrunner Motor and im having trouble finding out what ESC i need. I am on a tight budget and I do not what to go overkill so what is the bare minimum amp ESC do i need for this motor (Im using 2x 3s 5000mah lipos) here is the link to the motor: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-aerodrive-sk3-5055-280kv-brushless-outrunner-motor.html

You could you a Vesc or Rc car esc. Have a look at other people’s 6s builds and see what they used. I used an Xcar beast esc for my 6s

What amp was your ESC?

It all depends on what amp rating your motor is, if your motor draws more amps youll need a higher amp esc. My motor draws 80a on my 6s build and i run a 120a rc car esc.

120-150 amps is recommended, but if you have the money, go for the vesc, its very much worth it.
