they will sell that bundle as they have done with all previous board parts as well, just a matter of time, and not everyone is capable / have the tools (space) of making a battery pack themselves.

I apologise, I’m not sure I am following your point and I am not trying to be argumentative here,
If you, or anyone else is looking to Mod/DIY & plan on hitting 90A+ battery current why would you buy something that isn’t rated for it? You shouldn’t, you must build, or contract a battery builder to make something that is rated for your tasks.
If you buy this with the intention to upgrade, mod etc, then you would simply set your ESC to MAX of 80A battery current and be happy that you can’t hurt the battery. 80A is plenty for most people.

After experienced the hub drive and belt, I do stand with the gear drive.

I’d say a faulty antispark or ESC slamming brakes at 40mph is more in line, but okie x’d
