I got a single-motor Metro-board first in Dec 17, then went for a dual version after 6 months but I crashed and wrecked it and myself. WEAR YOUR HELMET…not doing so almost killed me at least once. AND I had a guy try to run me down (with his little daughter in the car) for not wearing a helmet…find the logic there…before that he was tailgating me.
I was commuting 20 miles/day on it and have about 1700 miles on it so far (the single-motor one is not working currently I had only had the dual for 3 months). The kaly.nyc and long haired boy boards are what I’m getting inspiration from now but my shopping list might have dual 6380 motors with 6.5" wheels, and a couple single motor controllers because I like the motors on diagonal wheels. I am just worried that I have never used a soldering iron before and don’t have competant supervision. Ok, enough screed.
