You can do roughing. And then smooth stepping. (Ie the final passes move less mm so instead of 3 ridges you’d end up with a sandable 25+ ridges that we’re fractions of mm high)

the well wings are carved in a step down pattern so there are ridges from the highest point to the lowest point, I meant you could eliminate those ridges, however you already carved it and you might run in to those problems I mentioned before, it would probably be easiest just to sand down the ridges at this point.
