I’ve been using the AS5047 for the past few years on a project with the original VESC 6 controller (blue PCB). I had one go bad and replaced with a new VESC 6 MKVI (Black PCB), and the encoder no longer works - doesn’t detect it doing automatic FOC setup or manual encoder detection. I confirmed the encoder works fine with a working original Vesc 6 (I have three working ones), but if I swap in the new MKVI with everything else it doesn’t work.
My AS5047 is jumpered to 5V, and the original VESC 6’s have their dip switch set to 5V. I noticed the new MKVI’s don’t have a sensor power switch, but I metered the sensor port and it’s outputting 5V. Any ideas?
