not really that odd… 3m are smaller/narrower teeth, so you need more of them compared to 5m
Thanks man! The black one looks to be more like the size of the teeth on my pulley. The diameter of this pulley is: 58mm
But to be honest, it doesn’t really matter as long as the teeth are the same because I could just move the motor closer or further away…

This belt is 15mm… so, that I guess lol
Yeah what @Alan_Smithee said as your original 3d printed ones don’t look very wide for the belts.

I complained to the seller who offered a partial refund and as I asked for a replacement and said they don’t know when they’ll have any more, I asked for a full refund as it was basically un-usable. Got my refund today

I modified one of the @JuniorPotato93 pulleys into a 3M one. Its actually red PLA but I finished in painted it some for better surface finish to make a silicone mold from it. That way if you or anyone else needs more of these in the future, I can cast them from poly urethane. The hardening/annealing always warps the part a bit. Because of this the pulley doesn’t run perfectly true when attached to the wheel. But I’d say its 95% true and not a problem for actual use and the increased hardness and wear resistance from the process is well worth it.

I will send you this very first one… just send me your address and I figure out what the shipping will be. once you have it you can test it to see if it actually works (if it holds up and if the teeth actually fit 3M because I didn’t have a belt to test it with) and pay whatever you want.

Always impressed with what people are able to accomplish on here but please keep in mind that these are shared under a Creative Commons license and that license prohibits the files or any derivatives of them (including physical models and casts of them) to be used for commercial purposes/profit. If you wish to sell these openly then you must play by the rules of the game and figure out what your costs of manufacturing are and charge that plus whatever shipping is. These files are out there as a service to the community and to allow a others a variety which would otherwise be very hard to come by and expensive to produce on a large scale.
If you are okay with that then by all means please continue to do what you’re doing.

oh its absolutely intended as a community service… the cost of manufacturing alone would be much more than I could charge anyone… its an 8h print sto start with
