You guys gotta start dropping links on the other forums you visit. Let the world know that the last few miles can be covered by an E-Skateboard. Or that its just a good way to get around and see the world rather than riding around in a 4,000 lb tank that is so dangerous it must be insured at all times.

I think it should be judged on:

How beautiful it looks, like overall aesthetics, as well as craftsmanship.

How innovative it is. Is it unique? Does it have cool innovative features that make it better? Does it actually perform as intended.

Cost. Were you able to make it awesome without blowing out the budget?
