Hey I’m new to ESK8 builds and have done a lot of reading before posting this. From what research I’ve done, I just wanted to clarify the relationship between VESC, battery, and motor.
So the motor max current set can be greater than the VESC current (but not for too long and under high torque as VESC will overheat). Also, battery current always has to always be under the motor max current (programmed in the VESC).
Is this information correct?
I am trying to use the following:
MOTOR: Flipsky Sensored Brushless DC Motor Battle hardened 6368 190KV 2700W F – FLIPSKY
VESC: FLIPSKY Mini FSESC6.7 PRO 70A base on VESC6.6 With Aluminum Anodized H
BATTERY: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-compact-6200mah-6s-40c-lipo-pack-xt90-1.html?___store=en_us
Any help would be appreciated!
