Its wood and carbon. But where the pins go through is the wood part.
Gotcha. Is the wood maple or some other kind of hardwood? My main concern is getting cracking along the deck. Birch is flexy enough, but I’ve no clue how it handles that kind of stress. Thanks for the help man.
Its maple. I haven’t had any issues. However i don’t do that metjod anymore because I found that I never had to change batteries so my quick release pin method wasnt really required.
