I am not able to get the VX1 to move my motor. It is paired to the receiver the motor moves when I program them in VESC tool. I am using the UART connection port.

Go into vesc tool and run detection and do the input wizard. Select uart on input.

I switched the receiver to the Ppm controller from my vesc and it seems to work just fine now. Just could not get it to work via UART.

Change input on vesc tool to uart then. Good that it’s working.
