I remember the last time I visited this forum (around 2018 or so), there was no dark mode. Fast forward to today, after logging in, everything is BLACKED OUT. I thought “cool…this site has a dark mode now”. However, not long after browsing around, I soon realize that it’s so bad. All the buttons, clickable stuff used to have some sort of color (blue if I remember correctly) but now everything just looks greyed out. Heck, the whole forum looks like someone’s slapped a greyscale filter on top of it, then call it a day for implementing dark mode.
Changing to light mode makes some texts on the top menu bar unreadable. The only thing still alive is the “Esk8 News, Esk8 Pictures, Builds, FAQ…” blue bar, everything else get purged with the grey of death.
Take a look at this screenshot below. This is the official Discourse forum’s dark mode. Look how the texts still retain their color.
And this is our forum’s dark mode. Completely greyed out everything.
Please fix this. Thank you!
