Small update 12/27/18: Connectors, Upgraded braid, Custom 4p HAYA holders, SPUD Tayto Proj, gauging interest again
Connectors
Finally found some Ring Connectors that is the right size so that it preserve the form factor. still need to trim the crimp length by half but this will do.
Solid contacts as you asked for
On the other hand. I’m getting some of these made by a copper company in china. pressed copper on both sides with braid running along the whole length. It will be nickel plated and then pressed to make the buttons for contacts. since the MOQ is high I’ll only be ordering these for 4p options.
HAYA and HAYA only
Making Custom 4P modules for the HAYA Deck. Will be test fitted on @sofu’s new acquired HAYA. will be oriented as such and featuring small holes for 24Gauge balance wire. (should fit 3 at the rectangle and 2 more holes at the corner
SPUD / TAYTO Swappable battery??
i’m working on a custom enclosure with swappable battery on everyone’s favorite short deck SPUD / TAYTO
12s3p It’s slightly angled to match the concave of the deck
Realized I need clearance for the kicktail to actually do anything. lmao. 12s3p is a little too big but I will still keep mine this way. maybe offering 10s3p or 12s2p in the future for the swappable to make sense. Going to print a 2 piece enclosure and then either make a silicone mold or Fiberglass right on top.
Still interested?
Since I was busy with school when I was last posted about selling them. and told everyone to hold off. how many ppl are interested to still?
- Didn’t take my money last time, take it now (pm me)
- Interested but still waiting for more incremental improvement (lmk what you are waiting for)
