Absolutely.
To be fair, my issue with Roger, and the “unwarranted hostility” was that he recomended EVERYONE not use a BMS or Balance charger. He made no exceptions to that statement, like “New builders should ignore this” or “only do this if you are experienced”. And then he had the sack to defend the same position.
I’m sure he’s a great guy, probably rescues kittens and gives hugs to the elderly…he may even be MOther Teresa’s long lost nephew and bound for a Cardinalship. That doesn’t change the fact that stupid fell out of his mouth, the aforementioned stupid could potentially damage the community, builders and property.
I am not trying to be a dick, there’s just a few topics that need to be thought about before people say things…and at the very least modify the position so that other people do NOT take inane crap (formerly labeled as stupid) as gospel.
