I’m not familiar with lipos unfortunately. I can say I think its fine with 2 in series since it’ll be a 10s, but once again I’m not a brainiac when it comes to lipos. Especially with c ratings.

and do you think 8000mah will be enough for a 10 mile ride
That would depend on the conditions of your environment to be honest.
I think you can get a 10 mile ride, but i would double check with the esk8 calculator.
