Yea that should be it. Make sure your deck has the clearance too.
Hmm…I wanted something thin and sleek (drop deck and less than 5" at the ends) but if it continues to be an issue then I might gut it and convert to a semi-AT build

Can’t speak from personal experience but for regular skate wheels on loose gravel/salt/snow, there’re shark wheels.
