Hub motor mount without a truck

I wanted to know if anybody out there has ever tried to mount a skateboard wheel hub motor on to something other than a skateboard truck. For example, try to mount it onto an axle similar two how a a bicycle wheel sits between forks. If any body has done that please let me know. Thanks

you need a hub with an axle then a torque arm or if you have a cheap 90mm hub then you need to make a custom torque arm and you can use a 8mm shoulder bolt.

There have been multiple bikes using hubs as motors. Not efficient tho.
