So I thought I’d do a quick update after making a little progress with the E-Pace Remote yesterday. Spoke with the Parts Department a few weeks ago, and found out that the GSM (gear selector module) would set me back over £300 
seemed a little rich for me, especially when I only wanted the handle part. Had a browse on eBay, and found a Range Rover Sport GSM for £35 obo, so I picked that up for £25 
As you can see, it wasn’t in the best shape, but it’s ideal for my needs. I’ve got no electronics for the Remote just yet, still deciding on NRF or RC TX/RX (I know NRF can do telemetry on VESC, but can it with Focbox? And how many functions can I get NRF to perform, as I’ve worked out I’d need probably a 3 or 4 Channel RC remote - throttle, direction indication, cruise, and lights).
So this was just me making a rough fit to see if the buttons and joystick would fit nicely, I couldn’t be happier with the result, though I’ll need some filler to really make it look polished

Ok… i have to admit. That looks pretty effin cool. Makes me want to start scavenging for gear shifters to send your way and have modified for a certain priiiiiicccce .

Just been accumulating parts for the remote and receiver over the last few months, Wish may be cheap but the shipping times can be a joke 
Most of the bits are here now, so I might have a go at wiring it all up this weekend
I’ve also decided that I really like the Haya deck styling, so I’m waiting for info on the next batch - either that or I’ll be pressing my own
